The Netherlands: Barenbrug Holland gives “riding school ’t Biobos” a helping hand

Riding school ‘t Biobos’ is a non-profit organization that enables handicapped children and adults to ride horses in a safe and controlled environment. They have special instructors on staff who help these special guests. Riding horses has a proven positive therapeutic effect on handicapped children and adults.

On Friday December 5th, 2016 a team of nine Barenbrug Holland employees rolled up their sleeves and refurbished the horse riding arena of riding school ‘t Biobos in Arnhem. The Barenbrug employees repainted the siding of the indoor arena as well as the wheelchair elevator.

Material and manpower that have been made possible by the ‘Helping Hands Foundation’, contribute to give children and adults with disabilities the opportunity to ride horses.

The team of nine colleagues -from various departments as secretary, production, front office, back office and variety registration- contributed to a long day’s work with a great result. The inside of the arena looks like new and the wood is protected for years to come.

Compliments to the participants !
