USA: Barenbrug cooks meal for homeless people

On November 15th, 2017 approximately 20+ employees of Barenbrug USA went grocery shopping, cut and prepped all the sides (cheese, bacon, butter, sour cream) at Barenbrug’s kitchen and then transported buckets of bakers russet potatoes to the shelter where they cooked them on site. They had the pleasure to serve more than 80 people down at the local Albany Shelter, during the holiday season (prior to Thanksgiving).

Such gratitude

The Barenbrug employees served a warm baked potato bar with all the fixings, and also pumpkin spice cookies as dessert. The people down at the shelter expressed such gratitude, this project was a complete success! Barenbrug USA intends to continue these cooking projects a couple of times per year for the Albany area homeless population.
