About the Helping with Hands foundation
The shareholders of Barenbrug Holding BV have set up a foundation, called Helping With Hands. With this foundation, employees are encouraged to contribute to society in the form of volunteer work.
About the Helping with Hands foundation
Helping with Hands is a non-profit foundation which is aimed to be a public benefit institution (PBI). The objectives of the Foundation are the support of charitable projects, including but not limited to charitable projects in the field of environment, education and sports. This is in accordance with Barenbrug's views on sustainable business and corporate social responsibility.
What kind of projects will qualify for support?
Employees may submit a wide range of charitable projects. This includes, but is not limited to charitable projects in the field of environment, education and sports. To realize the project, a physical and active contribution of a team of five or more Barenbrug employees is needed.
What does the support comprise?
The Helping with Hands Foundation supports projects that have been approved by the Foundation’s Board by offering employees paid leave of absence to participate in the project. If required, the Foundation will provide a financial contribution.
